Benker & McCoy lead Longmont Taxpayers into War with Firestone

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE - TIMES-CALL: LONGMONT CITY OFFICIAL INVITES UNION TO ANNEX INTO LONGMONT!!!

While Longmont taxpayers were forking out over $10,000 for an expensive junket Washington DC, Benker and her Gang of Four concocted a scheme to hire a pricey Denver attorney to start a war with Firestone to block that city's approved, public master plan for growth. Firestone Mayor Mike Simone tells it like it in on his blog, linked here.

Karen Benker and her cronies got themselves elected last November by turning out the liberal Democrat vote with the help of Jen Gartner, Dung “Dooty” Wray, Duane Leise, known Republican-hater Kay Fissinger and Progress Action Now – a radical Leftist organization whose sole purpose is to prove that Dick Cheney has three sixes on his head. 

In an opening salvo, a certain "Ryan Clark" opened a P.O. Box in Frederick and mailed Firestone citizens a letter imploring them not to annex the land near Highway 119, using bald-faced lies and bigotry - and plugging Dung Wray's website. Click here for letter .

Firestone citizens rejected their hateful letter and their Council unanimously annexed the land east of County Line Road in Weld County. LongmontReport.com has reason to believe "Clark" is actually Leise and friends, because of the 5^th-grade prose and chimpanzee formatting. Also, there's no registered voter names "Ryan Clark" in the Tri-Towns area - but there sure is in Longmont!

The “Gang of Four” are now on their anti-church soapbox again and WE as taxpayers are being set up to pay for an expensive Denver attorney that Benker and her Bobbleheads have ALREADY hired so they can continue their war against the Union landowners at all costs.

It’s as if, after Longmont and other towns' annexations absorb all of the little patches along I-25 in the routine process of growing, Karen Benker wants only the Union property to be left as an island of unincorporated Weld County, because those damned church people own it.

Dung "Dooty" Wray threatens Longmont Blogger

Newly "remonikered" liberal hack 'Dung "Dooty" Wray', like a true bedwetting bully, has resorted to intimidation and threats against his opponents (since he can no longer prevail via a campaign of lies).

His idol, Josef Stalin, perfected such tactics to, er, "compete" in the arena of ideas. Wray's day job consists of maintaining a blog and beating up on Marilyn Musgrave because she thinks marriage is between one man and one woman - a truly radical and dangerous concept, I realize. I'm sure Musgrave cries herself to sleep at night with enemies like Dungie.

"Dooty's" night job apparently involves blunt instrument trauma.

Lurch to the Left: How the new Longmont City Council is already out of control

Richard Juday (left) and Coun-uhhh-umm Councilman Brian Hansen (further left) celebrate the November 2007 victory of Longmont City Council's new "Gang of Four" radical  anti-business, anti-growth Liberals. They won with a collective 47% of the vote - not exactly a mandate.

What have they done since? We'll tell you, and it's only going to get worse, especially if Richard Juday wins election on January 29th. READ ON AND LET'S LIBERATE LONGMONT!!!

Councilwoman Benker made it clear in open forum last night she is calling the shots on election law interpretation last night, not the Charter Authority responsible for all law enforcement..." "Boulder to Annex Longmont" mailer reveals Juday's web page coverup

Ouch! I would not want to be the recipient of the charges in this this hit piece - which I am proud to say relied on research by three bloggers in town, including yours truly. Richard Juday and his rather militant-looking anti-Union annexation cohort Jen Gartner get beat up but good in this funny piece about "Boulder Liberals Annexing Longmont". Maybe Juday outghta give up and move to the People's Republic.

Richard Juday's web site says "What's wrong with being more like Boulder?" Hmmm...let's see...

Imagine a city where at the local high school, this is the norm for discussion with your children: "members of the panel made statements that, among other things, masturbation is "appropriate" behavior for 12-year-olds and that students should enjoy themselves as they experimented with sex and drugs."

Who wants to live in a city like that? Apparently, a decreasing number of Coloradans all the time - because people and businesses have been fleeing Boulder.

Analysis of Richard "no donations" Juday's shady campaign donations and soft-money slush fund

A funny thing happened on the way to a non-partisan City Council election...The Boulder County left-wing nut machine got fired up and they told their friends and so on,and so on, and so on. Well, we looked up "non-partisan" Juday's donors, and who THEY donated to (Download juday_donors_as_of_1807_in_excel_copy.pdf ), and it's obvious he's a tool of the Boulder Democrat machine.

First let's congratulate all these apparent MENSA members from out of town who donated.  Then, look at all the Longmont Demoncrat leadership who took the time to funnel cash to Juday. Funny, since RIGHT HERE on his website Juday promised not to take contributions (thanks to Stephanie at www.takebacklongmont.blogspot.com for saving his deleted page)...

I wonder if they took advantage of that convenient paypal donation link at Juday's "soft money" website:  whatsinitforlongmont.com (by that sniveling ninny hack, Doug Wray)??? And where's all that slush fund money going, Senor Juday? Campaign finance inquiry, anyone?

Richard Juday's Already-Broken Campaign Promises

UPDATED 1-16-08: Now, we expect politicians who get into office to break their promises, especially when it has to do with spending. The only ones worse than Republicans at this are Democrats. However, it's priceless when a candidate can't even wait until Election Day to start breakin' his own word and takin ' money he promised not to - but here's old Richard Juday doing JUST THAT (click for .pdf of his campaign finance report from last week) and Download juday_donors_as_of_1807_in_excel_copy.pdf to find out who his donors also support!

Check out this Longmont Times-Call story quote: "Juday said he also wouldn’t accept political party organizations’ contributions to his campaign, adding that “I can’t imagine that they’d be making any.”  Again, funny how 80% of the Boulder County Democrats Executive Board donated to him right after that.

I simply quote YET ANOTHER DELETED PAGE OF JUDAY'S WEBSITE (linked here in Google's Cache, and saved on http://takebacklongmont.blogspot.com/ just in case Dick decides to complain to Google for helping us bust him):

"This is a political questionnaire and my response to it. It was put out by the Apartment Association of Metro Denver and the Multifamily Housing Alliance. Should I gain their endorsement that’d be fine with me, but I don’t know that they have picked candidate(s) to back as yet."

WELL, here's a list of Juday's donors that shows you EXACTLY the kind of people he runs with and who else they donate to (click pdf to download a copy). They are Mickey Mouse Club roll call of Democrat operatives, local extremists and advocates of government control of our lives. 

Their humanistic goals are their God, and those goals just can't be reached with all of us unenlightened folks who like to make all our own decisions, willy-nilly, without considering the good of the Collective. YOU MUST BE REEDUCATED, DON'T YOU SEE????

Richard Juday: The Big Brother Candidate

Richard Juday wants to track your every move, even when you are picking up diapers or milk and eggs. In fact he admitted it on his own web site - that is, until he deleted it at the behest of his Boulder Democrat machine advisors. Friends, this stuff is truly goofy.

Is this what longmont wants? Oh, don't rely on LongmontReport.com to explain - it's best outlined by Juday himself rom his DELETED web page we have cached at this link): "I would have an IGA (intergovernmental agreement) in place before BBS (Big Box Store), Inc., ever even thought of building in City A.  Under the IGA, City A would recover its non-proportional and administrative costs from the sales tax heap, and the balance would be distributed according to the proportion of income its citizens provide to BBS, Inc. There are two ways to do the accounting; one would be to have a customer designate the City to which the sales tax revenue goes, and the other is to do occasional studies of customer populations (write down license numbers and trace them to residence; in-store surveys, etc.)...

In case his lowly subjects are not convinced of his uncanny ability to micromanage, Juday elaborates:

"In my example, City A might take 10% off the top for administrative costs, and of the 90% remaining, half would go to City A, a quarter to City B, etc."

Scary stuff, folks. I, personally, would have my tax dollars go to Waco, Texas, just to hack Juday off, and to keep the hands of the Benker Gang of Four off my money.
